The Mountain Grove Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Ava Bears to 47 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seymour for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Mountain Grove will battle a Tigers team coming off a 60-41 non-league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
The Bears (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sparta (Sparta, MO). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record.
