Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) and the host Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL), saw St. Teresa's basketball squad hold off Central A & M by a count of 37-36.

With the victory, St. Teresa upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mattoon (Mattoon, IL) to play the Greenwave in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a record of 14-2.

Next up, the Raiders play the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles (St. Elmo, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Central A & M will attempt to upgrade on its 19-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 64-25 non-league win over Wayne City (Wayne City, IL).
