With the victory, East English Village Prep upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The host Crockett Tech (Detroit, MI) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Crockett Tech lost 40-10 in their recent league bout against Western International (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Tars play the Southeastern Jungaleers (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Denby will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
