The Mitchell Bluejackets basketball team (Mitchell, IN), was routed 53-32 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN)

The Thunderbirds now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenwood for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. Eastern Greene will battle a Woodmen team coming off a 65-11 non-league loss to Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Woodmen record now stands at 5-13.

The Bluejackets (1-19) will now prepare for their battle against Paoli (Paoli, IN). The Rams come into the Patoka Lake battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Paoli was routed by Springs Valley (French Lick, IN), 43-36, in a league battle.
