Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hillcrest Academy Ravens (Kalona, IA), 47-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Huskies host Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA) to play the Falcons in a SEI - North bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-11.

Next up, the Ravens play the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Hillcrest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
