The Mardela Warriors basketball team scored 20 points and held the visiting Holly Grove Christian to 13 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wicomico for a Bayside - South contest on Tuesday, January 16. Mardela will meet a Indians team coming off a 60-14 league win over Bennett (Salisbury, MD). The Indians record now stands at 10-1.

The (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Broadwater Academy was nudged by Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA), 30-19, in a league contest.
