Island Coast Gators (Cape Coral, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Oasis Sharks (Cape Coral, FL), 36-14 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Island Coast upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Gators travel to Cypress Lake (Fort Myers, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a 5A District 11 bout on Friday, January 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Cypress Lake won 41-38 in their recent non-league bout against Estero (Estero, FL)

Next up, the Sharks clash with the Southwest Florida Christian King's (Fort Myers, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Oasis will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The King's go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 61-21 non-league loss to Neumann (Naples, FL).
