Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host To'hajiilee Warriors (To'hajiilee, NM), 69-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jemez Valley upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Warriors host Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM) to play the Longhorn in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Longhorn go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Roy/Mosquero won 53-17 in their recent non-league bout against Coronado (Gallina, NM)

Next up, the Warriors play the Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. To'hajiilee will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM).
