New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), 48-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Milford upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to clash with the Panthers in a Southwest - Patriot bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Pomperaug won 50-33 in their recent non-league bout against Thomaston (Thomaston, CT)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Joel Barlow will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
