Lutheran Knights (Kansas City, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles (Shawnee, KS), 41-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lutheran upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Heritage Christian Academy (Olathe, KS) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Cair Paravel Lions (Topeka, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Maranatha Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 52-40 non-league loss to Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS).
