The Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs to 24 in the Cyclones non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cyclones now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochester for a Central State Eight contest on Saturday, January 13. Sacred Heart-Griffin will battle a Rockets team coming off a 49-21 non-league loss to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 8-13.

The Bulldogs (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Morton (Morton, IL). The Potters come into the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Morton triumphed over Canton (Canton, IL), 49-30, in a league contest.
