Indiana High School Basketball - Monroe Central crushes Muncie Central

Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), 62-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Golden Bears host Wapahani (Selma, IN) to play the Raiders in a Mid-Eastern bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Wapahani lost 42-40 in their recent non-league bout against Delta (Muncie, IN)

Next up, the Bearcats play the McCutcheon Mavericks (Lafayette, IN) in a North Central bout, on Saturday, January 13. Muncie Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Mavericks come into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 56-49 non-league win over Carroll (Flora, IN).
