Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), 59-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Peoria Notre Dame upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Irish travel to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Dunlap won 54-20 in their recent league bout against Pekin (Pekin, IL)

Next up, the Ironmen play the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Normal Community will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 48-43 league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
