Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Purchase Line edges Northern Cambria

The Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Northern Cambria Colts (Northern Cambria, PA), 56-52 in Thursday's league test.

The Red Dragons (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Harmony Area (Westover, PA). The Owls go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Harmony Area was tipped by Ferndale (Johnstown, PA), 50-33, in a non-league test.

The Colts now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Blacklick Valley for a non-league test on Monday, January 15. Northern Cambria will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 61-25 league win over Shade (Cairnbrook, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-1.
