The Panguitch Bobcats (Panguitch, UT) basketball knocked off the visiting Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT), 52-36 in Thursday's league test.
The Bobcats (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Valley (Orderville, UT). The Buffalos go into the 1A Region 20 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Valley went down by Wayne (Bicknell, UT), 59-51, in a league test.
The Badgers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Piute for a 1A Region 20 test on Friday, January 12. Wayne will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 55-49 league win over Milford (Milford, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 10-3.
