Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL), 70-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Yorkville upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Lyons (LaGrange, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 12-8. Lyons lost 63-44 in their recent non-league bout against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)

Next up, the Bengals play the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - East bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Plainfield East will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 18-3 record after their 65-20 non-league win over Aurora East (Aurora, IL).
