Richland Colts (Colfax, ND) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers (Rosholt, SD), 62-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Richland upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Colts travel to Griggs County Central/Midkota (Cooperstown, ND) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Griggs County Central/Midkota lost 40-36 in their recent league bout against Larimore (Larimore, ND)

Next up, the Tigers play the Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 44-19 non-league loss to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD).
