The Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) basketball felled the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), 57-41 in Thursday's league test.
The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purples go into the Division 1 test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Classical was beaten by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 50-44, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Westerly for a Division 1 test on Monday, January 15. Rogers will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 60-41 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
