Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Lee's Summit, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO), 31-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Eagles host Barstow (Kansas City, MO) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Barstow won 64-4 in their recent non-league bout against Guadalupe Centers (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Savages play the Lawson Cardinals (Lawson, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Savannah will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record.
