The Beaver Bobcats trounced the visiting Richland Rams ice hockey squad by a count of 8-1 in Thursday's league bout.

With the victory, Beaver moves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA) to face the Antelopes in a PIHL Class A Blue bout on Thursday, January 18. The Antelopes go into the bout with a record of 11-2.

The Rams now sport a 10-15 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop McCort for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. Richland will face a Crushers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Crushers record now stands at 1-1.
