Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), 55-13 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lynden upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Burlington-Edison won 58-50 in their recent non-league bout against Lakewood (Arlington, WA)

Next up, the Borderites play the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Blaine will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 48-38 non-league loss to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA).
