James Logan Colts (Union City, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA), 67-60 in a league bout.

With the win, James Logan upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Colts travel to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA) to play the Mariners in a bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 17-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 13. Newark Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 40-38 league loss to American (Fremont, CA).
