Edgewood Red Wolves (Merritt Island, FL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Astronaut War Eagles (Titusville, FL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Wolves face the Viera Hawks (Viera, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Edgewood will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Melbourne Central Catholic (Melbourne, FL).
The War Eagles now have a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Father Lopez for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. Astronaut will face a Green Wave team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Odyssey Charter School (Palm Bay, FL). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-8.
