Community Braves (Nevada, TX) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Braves face the Lakeview Centennial Patriots (Garland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Community will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Royse City (Royse City, TX).

The Knights now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wylie for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. Independence will face a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Clear Springs (League City, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 5-1.
