New York High School Basketball - Iona Prep victorious over Albany Academy for Boys

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Iona Prep Gaels basketball team scored a good 63-50 triumph over the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets.
The Gaels (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, NY). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Bishop Loughlin was toppled by Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY), 64-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cadets confront the Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, January 12. Albany Academy for Boys will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 78-58 league win over Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY).
