The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the South Lewis Falcons (Turin, NY) and the visiting Alexandria Central Purple Ghosts (Alexandria Bay, NY), observed South Lewis's basketball team overwhelm Alexandria Central by a score of 65-31.

The Falcons (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Beavers come into the Section 3 Frontier C challenge with a 7-1 record.

In their next game, the Purple Ghosts encounter the Copenhagen Golden Knights (Copenhagen, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier D challenge, on Monday, January 13. Alexandria Central will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Golden Knights come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 59-54 league win over La Fargeville (La Fargeville, NY).
