The Ayer Shirley Panthers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Waltham Hawks to 57 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Narragansett Regional for a Midland-Wachusett E game on Tuesday, January 14. Ayer Shirley will confront a Warriors team coming off a 66-51 league win over West Boylston (West Boylston, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-7.
