Next, the Hi-Liners encounter the Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 17. Valley City will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Blue Jays come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 67-34 non-league loss to Trinity (Dickinson, ND).
The Bison (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Oakes (Oakes, ND). The Tornadoes come into the B District 1 test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Oakes bounced Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND), 55-24, in a non-league test.
