The Knights (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA). The Eagles come into the Coastal challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Maranatha Christian was knocked off by Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA), 51-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Firebirds encounter the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders (San Marcos, CA) in a Pacific challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Del Lago Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 71-26 non-league loss to La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA).
