In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Sarcoxie Bears basketball team scored a big 57-34 win over the Bradleyville Eagles.
The Bears (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Independent Day (Joplin, MO). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Jefferson Independent Day was trounced by Pierce City (Pierce City, MO), 57-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Winona Wildcats (Winona, MO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Bradleyville will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record.
