The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) and the visiting Brewster Bears (Brewster, WA), observed Lakeside's basketball team overwhelm Brewster by a score of 69-36.
The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Spangle, WA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Liberty trounced Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA), 63-50, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears encounter the Manson Trojans (Manson, WA) in a 2B Central Washington challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Brewster will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 67-54 non-league loss to Chelan (Chelan, WA).
