The St. Charles Cardinals (Columbus, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH), 41-29 in Saturday's non-league test.

Next, the Cardinals encounter the Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH) in a Central Catholic test, on Friday, January 17. St. Charles will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.

The Bruins (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Africentric Early College (Columbus, OH). The Nubians come into the Columbus City - South test with a 10-1 record. In their last bout, Africentric Early College gained a win over Woodward (Toledo, OH), 71-32, in a non-league bout.
