California High School Basketball - Camarillo thwarts Saugus

January 11, 2025: Camarillo, CA 93012

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA) and the visiting Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), observed Camarillo's basketball team knock off Saugus by a score of 61-47.

The Scorpions (19-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA). The Pioneers come into the Coastal Canyon challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Simi Valley prevailed over Moorpark (Moorpark, CA), 82-61, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Centurions encounter the Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) in a Foothill challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Saugus will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 93-45 league loss to Canyon (Canyon Country, CA).
