Colorado High School Basketball - Montrose tipped by Centauri

The Centauri Falcons got by the visiting Montrose Red Hawks basketball squad by a final score of 49-44 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO) in a 4A/3A Intermountain outing, on Friday, January 17. Centauri will attempt to upgrade on its 10-0 season record. The Panthers come into the outing with a 8-2 record after their 62-38 non-league loss to Durango (Durango, CO).

The Red Hawks (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Palisade (Palisade, CO). The Bulldogs come into the 6A/5A Southwestern outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Palisade was nipped by Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO), 72-64, in a non-league outing.
