In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Centennial Chargers basketball team scored a close 59-52 win over the Glenwood Titans.

The Chargers (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Ironmen come into the Big Twelve contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Normal Community edged Urbana (Urbana, IL), 50-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Jacksonville Crimsons (Jacksonville, IL) in a Central State Eight contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Glenwood will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Crimsons come into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 1-0 league win over Lanphier (Springfield, IL).
