The Conneaut Area Eagles basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Northwestern Wildcats to 56 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fort LeBoeuf for a Freelance game on Tuesday, January 14. Conneaut Area will confront a Bison team coming off a 48-42 league win over Corry (Corry, PA). The Bison record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Northwestern falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA) to confront the Huskies in a District 10 Region 6 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 6-7. Harbor Creek lost 63-51 in their recent non-league game against Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA)
