Illinois High School Basketball - Crete-Monee bests Lyons

The Crete-Monee Warriors basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Lyons Lions to 32 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Simeon for a non-league game on Sunday, January 12. Crete-Monee will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 61-48 league win over Lindblom (Chicago, IL). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, Lyons falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL) to confront the Trojans in a West Suburban - Silver game on Friday, January 17. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 11-4.
