Maryland High School Basketball - Cristo Rey Philadelphia fells Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue

The Cristo Rey Philadelphia Blue Pride basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue Warriors to 48 in the Blue Pride non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blue Pride now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Liguori Academy for a Penn-Jersey game on Tuesday, January 14. Cristo Rey Philadelphia will confront a Falcons team coming off a 61-57 league loss to Phelps (Malvern, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD) to confront the Lions in a Metro Private game on Monday, January 13. The Lions go into the game with a record of 16-3. Springdale Prep won 74-52 in their recent non-league game against Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD)
