With the victory, Crystal Lake South advances its record to 14-3 on the year. The Gators host Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to face the Whip-Purs in a Fox Valley match on Wednesday, January 15. The Whip-Purs enter the match with a record of 5-13. Hampshire lost 43-40 in their recent league match against Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL)

The Thunder now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvard for a Kishwaukee River match on Tuesday, January 14.
