Michigan High School Basketball - East Kentwood nips Renaissance

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting East Kentwood Falcons basketball team scored a close 66-60 win over the Renaissance Phoenix.
The Falcons (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Ottawa (Holland, MI). The Panthers come into the Ottawa-Kent - Red contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, West Ottawa edged Grandville (Grandville, MI), 54-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Phoenix battle the Denby Tars (Detroit, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Renaissance will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Tars come into the contest with a 10-1 record after their 57-44 non-league win over Southeastern (Detroit, MI).
