In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Lake Mills L-Cats basketball team scored a big 68-25 triumph over the Edgewood Crusaders.
The L-Cats (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Poynette (Poynette, WI). The Pumas go into the Capitol - North contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Poynette was trounced by Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI), 73-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Baraboo Thunderbirds (Baraboo, WI) in a Badger - Small contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Edgewood will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 71-46 league win over Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI).
