The Midway/Minto Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Ellendale Cardinals to 47 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Park River/Fordville-Lankin for a B District 3 game on Monday, January 13. Midway/Minto will confront a Aggies team coming off a 67-43 non-league win over Larimore (Larimore, ND). The Aggies record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Ellendale falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Oakes (Oakes, ND) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Tornadoes go into the game with a record of 4-3. Oakes lost 55-52 in their recent non-league game against Lisbon (Lisbon, ND)
