    • Kentucky High School Basketball - Holy Cross routs Portland Christian

    In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Holy Cross Cougars basketball team scored a big 77-45 triumph over the Portland Christian Eagles.

    The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Evangel Christian (Louisville, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Evangel Christian was trounced by South Laurel (London, KY), 58-37, in a non-league contest.

    In their next game, the Eagles confront the Cornerstone Christian Academy Bulldogs (Shelbyville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Portland Christian will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 71-27 non-league loss to Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY).
