The St. Johns Redskins held off the visiting Hopi Bruins basketball squad by a count of 54-47 in Saturday's league battle.
With the victory, St. Johns advances its record to 5-10 on the year. The Redskins travel to Mogollon (Heber, AZ) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 9-9. Mogollon won 69-25 in their recent league battle against Ash Fork (Ash Fork, AZ)
The Bruins now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuba City for a non-league battle on Monday, January 13. Hopi will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 58-55 league win over Ganado (Ganado, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 8-7.
