Maryland High School Basketball - Saint James succumbs to Landon

January 11, 2025: Bethesda, MD 20817

In Saturday's non-league test, the Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD) basketball squad defeated the visiting Saint James Saints (Hagerstown, MD), by a score of 47-33.

Next, the Bears clash with the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. Landon will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Saints come into the test with a 12-2 record after their 84-43 non-league win over Maret (Washington, DC).

The Saints (4-9) will now prepare for their test against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Lions come into the Mid-Atlantic test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, St. Andrew's Episcopal went down by Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 54-50, in a non-league test.
