The West Canada Valley Nighthawks basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Lyme Central Lakers to 40 in the Nighthawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Nighthawks now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oriskany for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. West Canada Valley will confront a Redskins team coming off a 47-33 league win over Town of Webb (Old Forge, NY). The Redskins record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Lyme Central falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Lakers host La Fargeville (La Fargeville, NY) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Knights go into the game with a record of 4-5. La Fargeville lost 59-54 in their recent league game against Copenhagen (Copenhagen, NY)
