Nebraska High School Basketball - Pius X nips Millard South

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Pius X Thunderbolts basketball team scored a close 62-61 win over the Millard South Patriots.

The Thunderbolts (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Omaha Central (Omaha, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Omaha Central edged Millard West (Omaha, NE), 53-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Millard South will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 70-30 non-league loss to Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE).
