The South County Vipers basketball squad (Franklin, IL), was nudged 53-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL)

With the victory, Riverton advances its record to 15-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL) to meet the Bullets in a Sangamo battle on Friday, January 24. The Bullets enter the battle with a record of 14-0.
