In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Springboro Panthers basketball team scored a good 50-39 triumph over the Walnut Hills Eagles.
The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, OH). The Wildcats go into the Greater Western Ohio contest with a 4-5 record.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the West Clermont Wolves (Cincinnati, OH) in a Eastern Cincinnati contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Walnut Hills will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 62-50 non-league win over Clermont Northeastern (Batavia, OH).
