In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Weatherford Eagles basketball team scored a big 95-35 triumph over the Tecumseh Savages.
The Eagles (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Elk City (Elk City, OK). The Elks go into the Western - North contest with a 1-3 record.
In their next game, the Savages battle the Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Tecumseh will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 62-59 non-league loss to North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK).
